Description of the medicine: Vitaftor (Vitaphtorum)

Vitaftorum.

The drug, containing in 1 ml sodium fluoride 0.22 mg, retinol palmitate 0.36 mg, ergocalciferol 0.002 mg, ascorbic acid 12 mg with the addition of sorbitol and other substances.

The liquid is light yellow with a slight opalescence, with a characteristic taste and a faint odor.

Applied in a complex of therapeutic and prophylactic measures in children with dental caries and to improve the formation of permanent teeth. Assign children living in areas with insufficient fluorine content (less than 0.5 mg / l) in drinking water.

Fluorine has an anti-carious effect, retinol and ergocalciferol (see) contribute to the normal development of the tissues of the tooth and bone tissue of the skeleton. Ascorbic acid prevents side effects of fluoride.

Take Vitaftor inside during a meal or 10 to 15 minutes after meals every day 1 time per day for 1 month. After a 2-week break, the course is repeated. Repeated courses are conducted 4 to 6 times a year with a break for the summer months.

A single dose for children from 1 year to 6 years - 1/2 teaspoon, from 7 to 14 years - 1 teaspoon.

The drug is contraindicated with a fluoride content in drinking water above 1.5 mg / l and with A- and D-hypervitaminosis.

Product: in bottles of dark glass of 115 ml.

Storage: in a dark place at a temperature of not more than +10'C.

There are also tablets "Vitafluor", coated with a yellow coating (Tabuleletae "Vitaftorum" obductae). They contain sodium fluoride 0.0011 g, retinol acetate 0.001135 g (3300 IU); Ergocalciferol 0.00001 g (400 IU), ascorbic acid 0.06 g (60 mg).
