Levorinum (Levorinum).

An antibiotic produced by Actinomyces levoris Krass. It refers to a group of polyene antibiotics.

Light yellow powder, odorless and tasteless. Hygroscopic. Easily degraded by acids and alkalis, as well as in the light. Practically insoluble in water and alcohol.

It has chemotherapeutic activity against pathogenic yeasts, particularly of Candida. In some cases, the clinical effect of inefficiency Nystatin.
