A mixture of 7-iodo-8-hydroxy-5-quinolinesulfonic acid with sodium hydrogencarbonate (3: 1).

Yellow powder odorless. It dissolves in water with the release of carbon dioxide. Contains 25 - 26% of iodine. For parenteral administration, the preparation is aseptically dissolved in freshly boiled and chilled to + 80 ° C sterile water for injection.
