Medication Description: Tetrizolin (Tetryzolin)

TETRIZOLIN (Tetryzolin).

4,5-Dihydro-2- (1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-1-naphthyl) -1H-imidazozole hydrochloride.

Synonyms: Berberyl N, Vizin, Octilia, Tizin, Berberil N, Oktilia, Tyrine, Visine.

A1-Adrenostimulator.

Applied with acute and allergic conjunctivitis, acute rhinitis and laryngitis.

Bury in the conjunctival bag 1-2 drops of 0.1% solution 2-3 times a day for no more than 4 days; Intranasal appoint adults and children over 6 years for 2-4 drops of 0.1% solution, children 2-6 years - 2-3 drops of 0.05% solution with an interval of 3 hours.

Possible side effects: with the use of eye drops - mydriasis, increased intraocular pressure, burning sensation and hyperemia of the eye; When using drops for the nose - burning in the nose, headache, drowsiness, weakness, tremor, dizziness, palpitations.

Form release: 0.05% solution (eye drops) in bottles of 0.05 ml (one-time) and 10 ml; 0.05% and 0.1% solutions for intranasal administration in 10 ml vials.
