VELLFERON (Wellferon).

α-n 1 interferon synthesized in the lymphoblastoid culture Namalva cells.

In action, and side effects similar to human leukocyte interferon for injection.

Applied with chronic hepatitis B and C, hemoblastoses, skin lymphomas, thrombocytopenia, kidney cancer, malignant melanoma, disseminated forms of solid tumors.

Assign subcutaneously or intramuscularly.

Adults are injected with chronic hepatitis B of 10 000 000-15 000 000 IU three times a week for 12 weeks; in chronic hepatitis C - for 5 000 000 IU for 48 weeks; for kidney cancer - 3 000 000 IU daily, increasing the dose up to 30,000,000 -60,000,000 IU per week; in chronic myeloid leukemia - 3 000 000 IU daily for 3 weeks, followed by a maintenance dose that provides the level of white blood cells from 2 x 10 9 / L to 5 × 10 9 / L, the rate of 6 months; in hairy cell leukemia - 3 000 000 IU daily for 12-16 weeks, followed by 3 times per week for 3 months or more.

Contraindications: mental illness, pregnancy, breast-feeding; for patients with hepatitis - heart disease, liver and kidney function, decompensated cirrhosis.

Product form: solution for injection in vials of 3 million and 10 million IU.
