Description of the medicine: Clopamidum (Clopamidum)

Clopamidum. 4-Chloro-N- (cis-2, 6-dimethylpiperidino) -3-sulfamoyl-benzamide.

Synonyms: Brinaldix, Adurix, Brinaldix, Clopamide and others.

The structure and effect of the drug is close to furosemide. Has high natriuretic activity. It also has an antihypertensive effect.

The diuretic effect begins 1 to 3 hours after ingestion and lasts for 8 to 18 hours (sometimes more than 24 hours).

Indications for use are the same as for dichlorothiazide.

Take the morning inside, starting with 0.04 g (2 tablets), if necessary, increase the dose to 0.06 g per day. Supportive doses of 0.01-0.02 g per day or 0.02 g every other day.

In hypertensive disease, appoint 0.01 to 0.02 g per day; The drug can be combined with other antihypertensive drugs.

Contraindications and precautions are the same as for dichlorothiazide and furosemide.

Product: tablets of 0.02 g (20 mg) in a package of 15 pieces.

Brinaldix is ​​a part of the "Brinerdin" tablets produced abroad (see Reserpine), "Christepin" (see Reserpine) and Viscaldix.

Tablets "Viscaldix" contain 5 mg of brinaldix (clopamid) and 10 mg of vine (pindolol - see).

Assign 1 to 2 tablets per day for hypertensive disease I-II stage.
