The white crystalline powder, odorless and tasteless. Easily soluble in alcohol, practically insoluble in water, slightly soluble in vegetable oils.

It is a synthetic analogue of testosterone. It has a biological and therapeutic properties of the natural hormone, and, like him, has a stimulating effect on the development of male reproductive organs and secondary sexual characteristics.

Methyltestosterone is not destroyed by enzymes of the gastrointestinal tract and retains activity upon ingestion. For best effect, it is recommended, however, not swallow a pill, a delay in its mouth (under the tongue) to complete resorption.
