Sprains and tears
. Damage to tissues with a partial rupture of them while maintaining anatomical continuity is called stretching. Joint sprains are more common. The mechanism of trauma is caused by stretching of tissues by two forces acting in the opposite direction, or by strong traction in one direction with a fixed body, organ or region. It usually happens when falling, lifting weights, running, etc. The treatment is close to those with a bruise.
If the acting force exceeds the resistance of the tissues, then a rupture of the ligaments, fascia, muscles, tendons, nerves, etc.
