PYRAMIDS AND THE HUMAN PERSON ON MARS
The Martian Sphinx is by no means the center of the region called Cydonia, located about 15 km north of the mathematical center of Cidonia and tilted by about 30 degrees relative to the Martian meridian.

Optimism supporters of the existence of life on Mars back inspired ... the same photographs of the Viking, which so recently seemed to have buried their dreams. Widely known only one of them - a "photo portrait" of a strange Martian formation, very reminiscent of a woman's face.
In 1979, disappointment and discouragement, inspired by lifeless landscapes, the operators in the Mission Control Center were so great that they almost completely indifference designed this shot from the Viking picture number 35A72. From the surface of distant Mars, the operators saw a huge female face. So what? On the memory there was still an example with "channels", the straight lines on the red planet were glowing, now the woman was evident, apparently because of fatigue.
It took a very short time, "a picture with optical illusion" was bought by a West German programmer who, without thinking twice, entered his parameters into the computer in order to bring the image closer, to look at it not from the height of the orbit to hundreds of kilometers, but only from one and a half kilometers. When the computer printed the result, he ... was stunned - the optical illusion completely disappeared, the woman really looked at it! For unblinking, looking to the sky, a look and for the characteristic "ancient Egyptian hairstyle" this statue received the nickname " Martian Sphinx ". The sensation simply could not get on the pages of the press, after which, as always, there were immediately disclaimers.

The head of the Viking program, K. Snyder, the very one who allowed the leakage of a valuable photo, without hiding irritation, stated that "the image found is only rock formations that have taken on bizarre outlines as a result of the play of light and shadows." Soviet academician Sagdeyev fervently supported this idea, saying that a new self-deception, such as that which took place with the channels, will no longer be. They did not refrain from studying photography at the Vernadsky Institute of Geochemistry and Analytical Chemistry. In the opinion of the candidate of geographical sciences R. Kuzmin, "it's all about the oblique lighting, the light of the low-lying Sun casts shadows from the usual hillocks, and as to the nostrils and necklaces on the face, it's the usual interference that occurred when the image was transferred to Earth! The theory of probability, the insidious play of light and shadow, can suddenly make up any image, one on the whole planet, down to the inscription "Hello, earthlings." But if this is not a real image, then it's only necessary to change the direction of lighting, how the whole effect will immediately disappear. NASA rummaged thousands of photographs and found one more, previously rejected, a picture (70A13), made on another turn and, therefore, at another time.The Sphinx, although it was barely visible, but nevertheless did not disappear! Having received two American experts began to build a computer image of a stereo image, for example, the nostrils, necklace, and other points considered to be interference, for some reason did not disappear in the new image, but the computer confidently outlined only one of the pupils of the eyes and even teeth in a slightly open mouth! At that time, it was still very difficult to compete with America in the field of computer graphics, but the solution found by the Samara scientist Vladimir TYURIN - AVINSKY, was pleasant in its simplicity and visibility even across the ocean. Thanks to the work with the plasticine copy of the sphinx, he achieved exactly this form, in which the effect of resemblance to a human face did not disappear under any illumination. 1,3 km, the height from the surface of the desert to the tip of the nose - 0,5 km!

As you understand, nothing like this is simply impossible to meet on Earth. No, - skeptics declared again, - such a giant can only be built by a very powerful civilization, but it is not on Mars, and if it was, why would it have a statue that can only be viewed from the Cosmos? And the sphinx once again passed into the category of accidental coincidence, only now not of light and shadow, but as a result of weathering of rocks. With a certain amount of stretching, one could agree with such a statement, if it were ... an isolated case.
Computer reconstruction of the Sphinx and "Cities"
If the image of a woman's face somehow immediately struck the eye, then on the structures that are 7 km from the sphinx, they noticed a few after. Constructions - it's softly said, Tyurin-Avinsky counted in this place as many as 11 pyramids (4 large, 7 small), a whole "city"! They are not like the results of volcanic activity or anything else. If these are just volcanoes, then there is no crater, lava flows on or around the walls, and the shape of these volcanoes is too correct: three-, four-, five-cornered, sharp edges and a top. Since his research, about 10 years have passed, computer technology has gone far ahead, so what ever the whole institutes worked on, only one programmer could do it. The specialist, who had to address this request, processed the image, and ... one of the most powerful computers to date shows a three-dimensional image of the Atsidali Plain on Mars. Almost all the boldest predictions were confirmed.
Even more so, instead of 11 pyramids and structures on the diagram, there are already 19, there are lines-"roads" and a strange round platform. "Roads" are clearly laid not just randomly, two of them approach the pyramids, just three converge to a circle in the center of the "city". The dimensions here are amazing: the largest central pyramid almost ten times (!) Exceeds the famous pyramid of Cheops in Egypt. If the pyramids are somehow close to us and understandable, then it's possible to argue about the appointment of a "circle" in a kilometer diameter to infinity: the cosmodrome, the polygon, the accelerator-type laboratory, the crater, the central square of the city? .. Judging by the abundance of suitable "roads" The latter option is most preferable. Again, proceeding from the fact that there are two "routes" to the "pyramids", one can say that they were not used (or used not only) as cult constructions and tombs (roads to the Egyptian pyramids-tombs have long been overgrown).
So we imperceptibly began to use the past verbs. Indeed, there is no doubt that the "city" was built a long time ago and is currently uninhabited. How is it known? Judge for yourself: large meteorites do not often fall to the surface of the planet, but in pictures of the same "city" you can see at least two direct hits of such meteorites in the left big pyramid and in the intersection of "roads." Neither one nor the other is not restored, probably because there was no one to restore! .....

Yes ... In the photo there were no new details of Martian architecture. Moreover, on the surface of Mars was not even the one in the existence of what even skeptics believed. Of course, the most ardent critics did not recognize the presence of real roads and pyramids in the sands, but they also agreed that on Mars there is "something resembling a sphinx, roads and pyramids." But the fact of the matter is that Mars did not have this. On the site of the "city", photographed "Vikings", it turned out to be an ordinary rugged terrain! Instead of a sphinx - a small mound! Initially, the regulars of the "Internet" accused NASA of misinformation, they say, not those areas are photographed. Then came the conclusions and hypotheses of another direction, it was assumed that:
A) The Sphinx has never been, his previous pictures are a fake ... No, it's too rough, there was hardly any falsification in this story.
B) There were no falsifications, but there was only an unconscious attraction to the mysterious, everyone "wanted" to see on Mars "something like that." And what about computers that do not care? And in them what you invest, they will give out ... Well, in part this is so. But look at the old photos of the Sphinx - do we all "seem"? No, the resemblance to the artificial structure was clearly evident! I'm ready to agree that this is all a random game of nature, but there are no new pictures of this game, either. Where did she go? ..
C) Perhaps the real sphinx and the "road" for two decades from the day of the previous photographing just filled up with dust? We in fact hardly that we know about frequency and intensity of dust storms on other planets ... But for 20 years to fill up huge kilometer constructions !? Although if you look at the big photos of NASA it looks very much like there is something there, but it's pretty full of sleep .
D) If the sprouts of the new civilization survived to our days (for example, in the darkness of the dungeons), then they could not only build the pyramids, but also destroy them. Thousands of years have stored and stored their buildings, and all this in order to destroy everything in a decade, or even more quickly. It would be logical to assume that the main reason was the "intrusion" of research vehicles from the Earth. The secret must remain a secret, no matter who keeps it ...

Because of the great excitement that flared up around the "Face", it was decided to re-photograph the area of Zidonia. On April 8, 2001, "Mars Global Surveyor" at 20:54 (UTC), flew so that he could capture the "Face", which is 165 km away and at a distance of 450 km. The resulting photo has a resolution of 2 meters per point. (If there were objects on Mars the size of an ordinary passenger jet plane, they would be distinguishable on this scale).
