All kinds of capsules are water roses with shiny large leaves of green color. They are not suitable for small aquariums, but they look great in large tanks when standing alone. Cubes form floating leaves and flowers if the water level is not very high. But this should be avoided, so as not to reduce the formation of underwater leaves. Thus, the plant is recommended not only for large (in terms of surface area) aquariums, but - especially - for higher reservoirs, because it is difficult to form floating leaves. Puppies are well preserved in aquariums with a tropical water temperature (from 22 to 25 ° C, and if possible not higher). The soil must be sandy, possibly with some admixture of clay. Rhizome (before planting it is necessary to cut rotten areas!) They are fleshy, about 5 cm thick. It should be placed in the soil no deeper than 1-2 cm. Water should not be too hard. A plant needs a lot of light. Another species suitable for aquarium conditions is N. luteum , also known as the yellow egg capsule. She has almost twice as much plate leaf, and rhizome is not so thick.
