Description of the medicine: Eryhaemum

Eryhaemum.

A drug obtained from human red blood cells (dried hemolysate).

Dry porous mass of bright red color. Soluble in isotonic sodium chloride solution.

Intravenous introduction of the eryhema solution stimulates hemopoiesis, increases blood coagulability, is accompanied by a hemodynamic effect, corrects the acid-base state and promotes normalization of metabolic processes.

Used as a hemodynamic means for blood loss, surgical and gynecological bleeding; Hypoproteinemia, hypotension. With significant blood loss along with the appointment of the erysipema, other blood substitutes and blood should be used.

Erigem is dissolved in an isotonic solution of sodium chloride (the amount of solvent indicated on the label of the vial) immediately before use. The solution is not subject to storage. The drug is administered intravenously only drip at a rate of 70 - 80 drops per minute. When blood loss, the solution is used in an amount that ensures the restoration of blood pressure to the normal level (8-15 ml per 1 kg of body weight). With hemorrhagic manifestations, 100 ml of the solution are injected 1 - 3 times with an interval between the injections of 1 - 2 days. As a stimulant, Erigem is used for 100 ml every 1-2 days until a clinical effect is obtained.

Infusion of the eryhema in a dose exceeding 200 ml is accompanied by renal excretion of part of the injected hemoglobin. Hemoglobinuria is observed for 8 to 16 hours (depending on the administered dose), after which the urine acquires the usual composition and appearance.

You should not use erygem in acute and chronic diseases of the liver and kidneys, accompanied by a violation of their functions, with hypertension and thromboembolic conditions.

When the recommended rate of administration and dose of the drug is exceeded, a short-term depression of the excretory function of the kidneys is possible, due to a transient vasoconstrictor reaction.
