Rules of the game. This game is popular all over the world, especially in France, in Scotland, in the UK, in the US. In different countries in the rules of the game there are their raisins in the rules. The name of the game originated from the French, where barbos means bearded, why bearded, because in the French card deck the King of Hearts is painted with a beard, and since there is a contract (game) where the king of hearts can not be taken, that's why the name appeared. In the barbu play four of seven contracts, that is, 7 different games. Points are awarded for each game. The sender for 7 games is determined by lot. The deck is carefully packed, it must be removed and each player is dealt 13 cards each. Players then play a game (contract) that the handler chooses, any of the seven games that have not yet been played are selected. There are 5 negative contracts and two positive contracts. Accordingly, in the negative, players receive negative points, and positive positive points in the positive.

Negative contracts

1. Do not take bribes. Each taken bribe player brings him 2 points.
2. Do not take ladies. Each taken bribe with the lady brings the player -6 points.
3. Do not take the last 2 bribes. The penultimate taken bribe brings the player -10 points, and the last taken bribe player gives him -20 points.
4. Do not take the worm. Each taken worm in a bribe brings -2 points, a chervovy ace brings -20 points.
5. Do not take the king of hearts (Barbu). The player who takes a bribe containing the king of hearts gets -20 points.

Positive contracts

1. Take trump cards. Each taken trump card in a bribe brings the player in 5 positive points.
2. Dominoes. Each player must place the cards strictly in a sequence of the same suit, for example, the first card has a 5 peak, the second must be 6, the third must be 7, the fourth must be 8. If it is not possible to put the card in the sequence, then the player must put the card in the sequence of the other suit, if this option is not available, then he can put any card. The first player who leaves this game (contract) receives 45 positive points, the second player who leaves the game receives 20 positive points, the third player who leaves the game receives 5 positive points, and the last remaining player gets 5 negative points. When a negative contract is played, the sender, after declaring the game, makes the first move from any of his cards, every subsequent player clockwise must put a card of the same suit, if he does not have such a card, he can put any card. After each player puts one card, the winner is determined who will take the cards (bribe) to himself. This player is the one who will put the highest card in the suit of the first move. The same player starts drawing the next trick on his own. It is worth noting that in negative contracts there is no trump suit. In positive contracts, a trump suit exists and is announced by the sender before the contract is drawn. When you play positive contracts there is a feature. When a player puts the first card in a draw of a bribe, then each subsequent player clockwise must put a card of the same suit, if there is no such card, then any card can be put and if a trump card was put, each subsequent player is obliged to put a trump card of the senior If there is no senior trump card, then you can put any card.

Doubling the contract

Each player during the whole game must at least 2 times but double the contract. What does it mean? That the number of points in this game for this player will be doubled. Accordingly, the contractor doubles his contract only once. If two players almost simultaneously said "double", then doubling is counted to the player who said first. If none of the players decided to double, then the player who will be doubled points is selected by the sender.
All the points scored by the players are recorded in a special table, in which contracts are row-by-line recorded, and players are indicated in vertical columns. The player who has scored the most positive points for the 7 games he has played (contracts) becomes the winner.
Note. The rules of this game are translated from English. There are a lot of options for this game, but due to the complexity of the translation, these options are not described here.
