You can disable the component called «AR», to make it easier to catch Pokémon, as well as to prolong battery life. To do this, click on the AR icon in the upper right corner of the display, when you see a Pokemon. Such an action would violate the integrity of the several gaming atmosphere, so you should do so only in the case if you intend to catch a Pokemon at all costs.
