We already had time to consider many methods of depilation and depilation. However, they did not dwell on electro-epilation in more or less detail, since they received many negative reviews on this matter.
However, in fairness, we nevertheless decided to make a brief review of the existing methods of electro-epilation (additional information and a comparative analysis with other methods of removing unwanted hair can be found here).

FLASH-method (from English flash - fast). It is based on high-frequency (2000 kNz) thermolysis - thermal destruction of the hair follicle. The duration of the pulse is so small (0.01-0.09 seconds) that it does not cause painful sensations and skin irritation. Using special needles with an insulating coating along the entire length, except the point, excludes damage to the epidermis. A distinctive feature of the flash-method is high speed.

The Blend method is based on the combination of thermolysis and electrolysis. The direct current causes dehydration of the tissues around the follicle, a chemical reaction with the formation of alkali - NaOH, which leads to the death of the follicle. Electrolysis produces excellent results, especially when removing coarse "strong" hair. The speed of the Blend-method is lower, but the effect is higher than that of Flash-epilation. Modern Blend-epilators have built-in microprocessors for regulation and control of joint application of thermolysis and electrolysis. The parameters of the exposure are set individually for each patient.
The speed and effectiveness of needle-based epilation techniques (Flash and Blend) largely depend on the expertise of the specialist performing the procedure.

The tweezers method is a high-frequency action from a tweezers electrode that is transmitted through the hair to the follicle and causes its partial destruction. The method is very simple to use, absolutely painless, does not cause skin irritation, since the electrode does not come into contact with the skin, however, the speed, unfortunately, does not differ. The time of exposure to one hair is from 1 to 8-10 seconds. The effectiveness of tweezer epilation is lower than Blend and Flash, the number of procedures to achieve a satisfactory result is 6-8. The method is indispensable when removing hair on sensitive areas of the skin (face, bikini, etc.).
