Human vision (visual perception) - the ability of a person to perceive information by converting the energy of electromagnetic radiation in the light range, carried out by the visual system. The processing of the light signal begins on the retina of the eye, then the photoreceptors are excited, the visual information is transmitted and converted in the neural layers with the formation of a visual image in the occipital lobe of the cortex.
When you sit continuously at work, burying yourself in the monitor, by the middle of the day you begin to feel unbearable eye fatigue from overwork. But few can afford to turn off a laptop or computer, putting things off for later.
Shram.kiev.ua collected 10 simple exercises for the eyes, which are easy to do right at the workplace, spending no more than 15 minutes on it.
Look into the dark
Lower your elbows on the table. Close your eyes and place your palms on them. Relax and look into the darkness. Stay in this position for 1-3 minutes.
Side to side eye movement
Stand up or sit upright. Look straight ahead. Without moving your head, look to the left. Focus on what you see. Then look to the right. Focus on what you see. Move your gaze from side to side 5 times. Repeat this cycle 3 times.
Eye movement up and down
Sit straight and look in front of you. Then look up and focus on what you see. Look down. Do not be afraid to wrinkle your forehead or frown. Look up and down 5 times. Repeat the entire cycle 3 times.
Diagonally moving gaze
Look straight ahead. Look down and left. Then look diagonally and look up and to the right. Focus on what you see. Repeat the exercise 5 times, and then do the same in the other direction. Repeat the entire cycle 3 times.
Sit up straight and relax. Look to the left and start slowly turning your eyes clockwise. Do 5 full circles clockwise and then counterclockwise. Repeat the entire cycle 3 times.
Near and far focus
Focus your eyes on the pencil. It should be at a distance of 20-30 cm from your eyes. Then look at some distant object. Focus on it and try to examine it in detail. Then look at the pencil again. Look so 5 times. Repeat the entire cycle 3 times.
Sit straight. Look in front of you. Look at the point between the eyebrows. Focus on what you see for a few seconds. Then look again in front of you. Look so 5 times. Repeat the entire cycle 3 times.
Sit straight. Look in front of you. Look at the tip of your nose for a few seconds. Then look in front of you again. Look in this way 5 times. Repeat the entire cycle 3 times.
Massage. First way
Close your eyes. Squint strongly for 2-3 seconds. Then relax the muscles around the eyes. Squint again. Repeat 10 times.
Massage. Second way
Close your eyes. Gently massage your eyelids in a circular motion. Press lightly. Do not try to press too hard. Make 10 circular motions, first clockwise, then counterclockwise
