Biopsy

Intravital excision of tissues or organs for examination under a microscope. It allows with a high degree of accuracy to determine the existing pathology, as well as to diagnose clinically unclear and initial stages of neoplasm, to recognize various inflammatory phenomena. A repeated biopsy traces the dynamics of the pathological process and the influence of therapeutic measures on it.
In modern clinics and hospitals, a biopsy is performed for every third patient, material for it can be taken from almost any organ by special tools.
