Pananginum (Panangin) *.

The preparation containing potassium aspartate and magnesium aspartate. Available in the form of pills and capsules. One tablet contains 0.158 g of potassium asparaginate (36 corresponds to 2 mg of potassium ion) and 0.14 g of magnesium asparaginate (11, 8 mg of magnesium ion); one ampoule (10 ml) containing potassium 0.452 asparaginate (103, 3 mg of potassium ion) and asparaginate 0.4 g of magnesium (33 mg 7 Magnesium ion).

Apply with heart arrhythmia caused mainly electrolyte disturbances, particularly hypokalemia.

It suggests that aspartate is a carrier of potassium and magnesium ions and promotes their penetration into the intracellular space. Proceeding in cells involved in aspartate metabolism. Magnesium ions contribute to the therapeutic effect of the drug.

The drug is indicated for rhythm disturbances associated with drug intoxication lapidary, with paroxysms of atrial fibrillation, a recent ventricular arrhythmia.

Panangin used in the treatment of coronary insufficiency (there is evidence of a decrease under the influence of the drug hypoxic myocardial metabolism disorders associated with the deterioration of the coronary circulation), and hypokalemia caused by salureticheskih funds.

Assign inside usually 1 - 2 tablets 3 times a day, and in more severe cases (in violation of the coronary circulation, intolerances lapidary products, etc..) - 3 pills 3 times a day. After 2 - 3 weeks to reduce the dose to 1 tablet 2 - 3 times a day. In relatively mild cases immediately appoint 1 tablet 2 - 3 times a day. Take after meals.

For cupping arrhythmias panangina solution is administered intravenously, which diluted the contents of 1 vial (10 ml) in 20 - 30 ml of isotonic sodium chloride solution or 5% glucose solution and injected slowly into a vein or diluted contents of 1 - 2 ampoules in 250 - 500 ml isotonic sodium chloride solution or 5% glucose solution and injected into the vein drip. If necessary, add a solution strofantina or other cardiac glycosides.

In applying the drug may nausea, dizziness (when administered intravenously). Patients complaining of dizziness, reduce the dose.

The drug is contraindicated in acute and chronic renal failure and hyperkalemia.
