DEZOPIMON (Desopimonum) *. 1- (p-Chlorophenyl) -2-methyl-2-amino-propane hydrochloride.
Synonyms: Aderan, Apsedon, Avicol, Avipron , Chlorphenteramini hydrochloridum, Lucofen, Rebal, Teramine and others.
A white crystalline powder freely soluble in water.
On chemical structure and pharmacological properties it is similar to amphetamine and Fepranon. Like fepranona, having anorectic action without causing CNS excitation and expressed only marginally increasing blood pressure.
Indications as anorectics are the same as for fepranona.
Assign inside tablets to 0,025 g (25 mg) 1 - 2 - 3 times a day with meals in combination with low-calorie diet (see Fepranon.).
