Lithonia (Litonitum).

The lithium salt of nicotinic acid.

The white crystalline powder. Easily soluble in water.

Lithonia proposed as a non-specific aid for the combined treatment of patients with alcoholism. The drug is aimed at improving metabolic and hemodynamic (due to nicotinic acid component -. Cm) and a decrease in affective disorders (due to lithium ion).

Apply Lithonia to reduce the craving for alcohol, the weakening effects of abstinence, as well as in acute alcohol intoxication (in combination with other drugs and treatments).

Leighton used as a 10% solution intravenously.

Withdrawal syndrome when administered at 0.1 - 0.2 g (content of 1-2 ampoules) for 1 2 weeks once a day. Intravenous administration can be combined with emotional stress psychotherapy (see. Special treatment for alcoholism).

In acute alcoholic poisoning Lithonia is administered intravenously to the disappearance of signs of intoxication, pre-diluted solution in 10 - 15 ml of 5 - 40% glucose solution.

Application litonita contraindicated in beremennostn, acute renal and liver failure, poisoning with drugs and other chemical compounds, with poor tolerance of nicotinic acid preparations.
