Description of the medicine: Adapromin (Adaprominum)
ADAPROMIN (Adaprominum). A-Propyl-1-adamantyl-ethylamine hydrochloride.
White fine crystalline powder with a specific odor. Soluble in alcohol.
According to the chemical structure, adapromine is close to remantadine.
The antiviral activity is also close to remantadine, but is effective against influenza A and B viruses.
Assign adults, for treatment and prevention (during the epidemic) of influenza.
Is taken orally after a meal. As a remedy, appoint at the first sign of the disease to 0.2 g 1 time per day daily for 4 days. For prophylaxis give 0.1 g once a day daily for 5 days, and when new cases occur - within 10 days.
In some cases, possible dyspepsia, allergic skin reactions.
Contraindications are the same as for remantadine.
Product: tablets of 0.05 g (Tabulettae Adapromini 0,05) white with a yellowish tint of color in a package of 20 pieces.
