Chloramine B (Chloraminum B).

Benzolsulfohloramid sodium.

Synonyms: Chlorazene, Chlorogenium, Neomagnol (Tochlorine , Tolamine are toluene analogami hloramina B).

White or light yellow crystalline powder with a faint smell of chlorine. Soluble in water (1:20), easily soluble in hot water. Soluble in alcohol (1:25), forming a cloudy solution. It contains 25 - 29% of active chlorine.

It acts as an antiseptic and dezodoriruyushee means. Also it has spermicidal properties.

Use for the treatment of infected wounds (wash, wetting tampons and napkins 1, 5 - 2% solution), hand disinfection (0.25 - 0.5% solution), non-metallic tools.

For decontamination of care and discharge when typhoid, paratyphoid, cholera and other enteric infections and respiratory infections (. Scarlet fever, diphtheria, influenza, etc.) using 1 - 2 - 3% solution with TB infection - 5% solution.
