Description medications: Proloteston (Prolotestonum)

PROLOTESTON (Prolotestonum).

The solution in the oil mixture -methyl 2- a-dihydrotestosterone and its esters: propionaldehyde (i.e. medrotestrona propionate), and nylon enantovogo (in the ratio 1: 2: 4: 7).

Transparent oily liquid of light yellow color.

Proloteston is a long-acting dosage form medrotestrona; including in the preparation and nylon enantovogo esters medrotestrona provides slow absorption when administered intramuscularly and efficacy after a single injection for approximately 15 days.

Indications for use are the same as for medrotestrona propionate (advanced stage of breast cancer).

Administered by deep intramuscular injection of 0.35 - 0.7 g (1 - 2 ml of 35% solution), one every 2 weeks for a long time.

Possible side effects and contraindications such as when applying medrotestrona propionate.

Product: 35% oil solution in ampoules and 1 ml (0.35 g prolotestona in 1 ml).
