Nebivolol (Nebivolol).

(+ -) A, A1- [Iminobis (methylene) bis [6-fluoro-3,4-dihydro] -2H-1-benzopyran-2-methanol].

Synonym: Nebilet, Nebilet.

Cardioselective B1-blocker long-acting. Has vasodilator action, which can be associated with the stimulation of NO synthesis in the vascular endothelium. Does not have a negative effect on lipid metabolism.

Quickly absorbed, bioavailability is about 12% in patients with "fast" and almost 100% in patients with "slow" metabolism, T1 / 2 - 10 and 50 hours respectively; Undergoes biotransformation in the liver, excreted in urine and feces.

Applied with arterial hypertension and ischemic heart disease (stress angina).

Is taken orally (without chewing and drinking with water during or after a meal) to 0,005 grams (5 mg) 1 time per day (with renal insufficiency of 0.0025 grams (2.5 mg) per day). The antihypertensive effect usually develops after 1-2 weeks and reaches a maximum after 4 weeks.

There are data on the use of the drug in chronic heart failure.

Possible side effects: headache, dizziness, weakness, dyspepsia, bradycardia, atrioventricular block, exacerbation of intermittent claudication, bronchospasm, etc.

The drug is contraindicated in bradycardia, weakness syndrome sinus node, atrioventricular blockade II-III degree, violations of peripheral circulation, bronchial obstructive diseases, violations of the liver, pregnancy.
