Description of the medicine: Ropivacaine (Ropivacaine)

Ropivacaine.

(S) -N- (2,6-dimethylphenyl) -1-propyl-2-piperidinecarboxamide.

Synonym: Naropin, Naropin.

Applied with epidural anesthesia (including cesarean section, postoperative pain), as well as for infiltration and conductive anesthesia.

0.2% solution is used to stop acute pain: 10-20 ml (0.02-0.04 g) is injected epidurally at the lumbar level (0.02-0.04 g once (analgesia develops in 10-15 min and lasts for S-1 hr) and, if necessary, repeatedly (With an interval of at least 30 minutes) 10-15 ml or infuzionno in the postoperative period at a rate of 6-14 mg per hour, for infiltration and conductive anesthesia, 1-100 ml (0.002-0.02 g) is injected (analgesia develops after a 1- 5 minutes and lasts 2-6 hours).

0.75% solution is used: for operations of cesarean section - 15-20 ml are administered; For epidural anesthesia - on the thoracic and lumbar level, respectively, 5-15 and 15-25 ml (the effect develops after 10-20 min and lasts 3-5 hours); For infiltration and conductive anesthesia - 1-30 ml (1-15 min and 2-6 h respectively); For blockade of large nerve plexuses - 10-40 ml.

Possible side effects: fluctuations in blood pressure and heart rhythm, neuropathy, impaired spinal cord function, nausea, vomiting, chills, urinary retention, allergic reactions, etc.

The drug is contraindicated at the age of 12 years.

Product: 0,2%; 0,75% and 1% solutions in bottles of 10 and 20 ml and 0.2% in sterile bags of 100 and 200 ml.
