Description of the medicine: Bifonazolum (Bifonazolum)

BIFONAZOLUM.

(±) -1- (n-p-a-Diphenylbenzyl) imidazole.

Synonyms: Bifosin, Mycospores, Bifonarole, Bifosinum, Micospor.

Antifungal preparation of a wide spectrum of action, similar in mechanism of action with other derivatives of imidazole.

Apply externally (in the form of cream, gel, solution or powder) with dermatomycosis (superficial candidiasis, dermatophytosis, erythrasma, multi-colored lichen, etc.) and onychomycosis.

Cream or solution is applied in a thin layer, rubbing, on the infected skin surface. Apply from the calculation of 5 mm column of cream, squeezed out of the tube, or 3 drops of solution to the area of ​​the palm size 1 time per day (at night). The duration of treatment is usually 2-4 weeks.

With onychomycosis, apply a thin layer of cream to the affected nails, close the bandage and bandage for 24 hours. After 24 hours, the cream, together with the softened part of the nail, is removed, moistening the fingers in warm water, drying the fingers and applying the cream again. The procedure is repeated for 7-14 days. After removing the nail, the treatment is continued for 4 weeks. If necessary, the course of treatment is repeated.

Possible side effects: local irritation, allergic reactions.

Contraindicated in pregnancy.

Forms of production: 1% powder (powder) in cans of 30 g; 1% cream in tubes of 15, 20, 30 and 35 g complete with strips of adhesive plaster and a set of nail files for removing softened areas of nails; 1% gel in bottles of 100 g; 1% solution for external use in bottles-droppers for 15 and 30 ml.
