Levofloxacin (Levofloxacin).

Synonym: Tavanic, Tavanic.

The optically active levorotatory isomer of ofloxacin.

On the spectrum of antibacterial action, indications and contraindications to the use and side effects similar to ofloxacin (see.). Outperforms other quinolones for activity against pnevmokkokov, mycoplasma and chlamydia.

Applied mainly for respiratory tract infections.

Assign inside (to food without chewing and drinking water) or intravenously (slowly) at 0.25-0.5 g 1-2 times a day for 7-10 (14) days.

Method of production: tablets of 0.25 and 0.5 g (N. 10); 0.5% solution for injections in bottles of 100 ml.
