Description of the medicine: Desoxypeganine hydrochloride (Desoxypeganini hydrochloridum)

Deoxypypeganine hydrochloride (Desoxypeganini hydrochloridum). 2, 3-Trimethylene-3, 4-dihydroquinazoline hydrochloride.

Hydrochloride of alkaloid from grass of normal (Reganum harmal L.)

White or white with a slightly yellowish tint fine crystalline powder. Soluble in water, little in alcohol.

Has reversible anticholinesterase action.

Assign patients with lesions of the peripheral nervous system (mononeuritis, neuritis, polyneuritis); With myasthenia gravis and myopathy-like conditions, with hemiplegia, hemiparesis, lesions of the anterior horns of the spinal cord.

Take or inject under the skin. Inside appoint an adult in a single dose of 0.05 - 0.1 g 3 times a day (daily dose of 0.15 - 0.3 g). Children aged 12 - 14 years - 0.01 to 0.025 g per reception, up to 0.1 g per day; Over 14 years - 0,025 - 0,05 g per reception, daily dose 0,2 g.

Single dose under the skin for adults 1 - 2 ml of 1% solution (0.01-0.02 g). The daily dose of 0.05 - 0.1 g.

Duration of treatment 2 - 4 - 6 weeks.

Possible side effects and contraindications are the same as with the use of other anticholinesterase drugs.

Forms of release: tablets of 0.05 and 0.1 g; 1% solution in ampoules of 1 and 2 ml (10 and 20 mg).
