Description of the medicine: Galazolin (Halazolinum)
GALAZOLINE. (Halazolinum) *. 2- (4'-tert-Butyl-2 ', 6' -dimethylbenzyl) -imidazoline hydrochloride.
Synonyms: Nezeril, Otriven, Otrivin, Xylometazoline.
In structure and action, it is close to naphthyzine.
It is used for rhinitis, laryngitis, sinusitis, sinusitis, hay runny nose and other allergic diseases of the nasal cavity and throat.
Adults are administered 1 to 3 drops of a 0.1% solution in each half of the nose 1 3 times a day, for children - 1 drop of a 0.05% solution 1 time per day. Adults can be administered using a nebulizer (inhaler).
When using the drug, a slight burning sensation in the nose and throat may be felt. In chronic rhinitis, the drug is usually not used (see Naphthyzine).
Contraindications are the same as for naphthyzine.
Release form: 0.1% solution (for adults) and 0.05% solution (for children) in 10 ml bottles.
