Description of the medicine: Mebicarum

MEBICARUM. 2, 4, 6, 8-Tetramethyl-2, 4, 6, 8-tetraazabicyclo (3, 3, 0) octanedione-3,7.

White crystalline powder. Easily soluble in water, soluble in alcohol.

Has a moderate tranquilizing activity; Does not have muscle relaxant action and does not disrupt the coordination of movements. Sleeping effect does not have, but enhances the effect of hypnotics and improves sleep during its violations.

Apply mebikar with neuroses and neurosis-like conditions, taking place with the phenomena of irritability, emotional excitability, anxiety, fear. It can be used in combination with neuroleptics and other tranquilizers.

Assign inside the tablets of 0,3 - 0,6 g 2 - 3 times a day (regardless of food intake). The maximum single dose of 3 g, daily - 10 g.

Duration of treatment - from several days to 2 - 3 months.

Mebikar is used as a means of reducing the craving for tobacco smoking (in complex therapy). To this end, appoint 0.3 to 0.9 g per day for 5 to 6 weeks.

When taking mebikara allergic reactions are possible (skin itching). In such cases, it is necessary to cancel the drug. Blood pressure and body temperature may decrease, which will normalize on their own.
