Description of the medicine: Pyridoxalphosphatum (Pyridoxalphosphatum)

PYRIDOXALPHOSPHATE (Pyridoxalphosphatum). 5'-Phosphoric ester of 2-methyl-3-hydroxy-4-formyl-5-hydroxymethylpyridine.

Light yellow crystalline powder. Unstable in the light. It is slightly soluble in water, practically insoluble in alcohol.

It is a coenzyme form of vitamin B 6 (pyridoxine). The drug has the properties of vitamin B 6. It differs in that it has a rapid therapeutic effect and can be used in cases when the phosphorylation of pyridoxine is disrupted and it does not have a therapeutic effect.

A similar preparation is produced abroad under the names: Aderomine, Aderochal, Sodesarboxylase, Rudridoxal and others.

Indications for use are the same as for pyridoxine, including conditions resistant to the action of the latter. High efficiency of pyridoxal phosphate in skin diseases (hives, eczema, neurodermatitis, psoriasis) is noted.

Apply pyridoxal phosphate inside 10 to 15 minutes after meals 3 to 5 times a day. Single dose for adults 0,02 - 0,04 g, daily 0,04 - 0,16 g. Single dose for children 0,01 -0,02 g, daily 0,02 - 0,06 g.

The duration of the course of treatment is from 10 to 30 days or more (depending on the nature of the disease and the effectiveness of therapy).

With acne, pyridoxal phosphate is also used externally in the form of a cream.

Form release: tablets of 0.01 and 0.02 g, coated with a yellow color (Tabuletae Rudrioxalphosphati 0.01 and 0.02 obductae), in a package of 50 pieces.

Storage: in a dry place protected from light.

Pyridoxal phosphate for injection is also used (Rudridoxalphosphatum 0.005 ect 0.01 pro injectionibus). Enter under the skin, intramuscularly or intravenously: adults 0.005-0.01 g 1 - 3 times a day, children - up to 0.005 - 0.01 g per day.

Form release: in ampoules containing 0.005 or 0.01 g of the drug - lyophilized dry porous mass of light yellow color. The contents of the ampoule are dissolved exterro into 1 - 2 ml of water for injection.

Storage: in a place protected from light.
