Description of the medicine: Aminotroph (Aminotrophum)
Enhanced casein hydrolyzate. Contained in 1000 ml of 50 g of amino acids, including L-tryptophan (0.5 g), as well as potassium, calcium, magnesium ions. The amino nitrogen content is at least 70% of the total nitrogen.
Clear yellow liquid with a specific odor.
Indications for use are the same as for hydrolysin and other protein hydrolysates.
Intravenously administered as an infusion, starting with 10 - 20 drops per minute (in the first 30 minutes), then 25 - 35 drops per minute. With full parenteral nutrition, up to 1500 - 2000 ml per day is administered, with incomplete (auxiliary) parenteral nutrition - 400 - 500 ml per day.
Simultaneously with aminotroph, you can enter a solution of glucose with insulin (1 unit for every 4 g of glucose), vitamins.
When using aminotroph, a feeling of fever, facial flushing, headache, nausea, and vomiting are possible. In these cases, stop administration and conduct desensitizing therapy.
The drug is contraindicated in decompensation of cardiac activity, cerebral edema, cerebral hemorrhage, acute renal and liver failure.
Release form: in bottles of 400 ml.
Storage: at temperatures from - 10 to +25 'C. During storage, an insignificant suspension may appear, which easily breaks when shaken.
