Medication Description: Aminotroph (Aminotrophum)
Advanced hydrolyzed casein. Contains in 1000 ml of 50 g of amino acids, including L-tryptophan (0.5 g), as well as ions of potassium, calcium, magnesium. The content of amino nitrogen is not less than 70% of the total nitrogen.
Transparent liquid of light yellow color with a specific smell.
Indications for use are the same as for hydrolysin and other protein hydrolysates.
Injected intravenously in the form of an infusion, ranging from 10 to 20 drops per minute (in the first 30 minutes), then 25 to 35 drops per minute. With full parenteral nutrition, up to 1500 - 2000 ml per day is administered, with incomplete (auxiliary) parenteral nutrition - 400 - 500 ml per day.
Simultaneously with the aminotroph, you can enter a solution of glucose with insulin (1 U for every 4 g of glucose), vitamins.
With the use of aminotropha, fever, facial flushing, headache, nausea, and vomiting are possible. In these cases, stop the introduction and conduct desensitization therapy.
The drug is contraindicated in decompensation of cardiac activity, swelling of the brain, hemorrhage in the brain, acute renal and hepatic failure.
Form release: in bottles of 400 ml.
Storage: at a temperature of from - 10 to +25 'C. When storing, a slight mist may appear, easily broken when agitated.
