AMINOTROF (Aminotrophum).

The improved composition of casein hydrolyzate. Contained in 1000 ml of 50 g of amino acids, including L-tryptophan (0.5 g) and potassium ions, calcium and magnesium. amine nitrogen content is not less than 70% of total nitrogen.

Indications for use are the same as for gidrolizina and other protein hydrolysates.

Administered intravenously as an infusion ranging from 10 - 20 drops per minute (during the first 30 minutes) followed by 25 - 35 drops per minute. When total parenteral nutrition administered to 1500 - 2000 ml per day, with incomplete (auxiliary) parenteral nutrition - 400 - 500 ml per day.

When using aminotrofa possible burning sensation, facial flushing, headache, nausea, vomiting. In these cases, the introduction is stopped and desensitizing treatment is carried out.

The drug is contraindicated in cardiac decompensation, cerebral edema, cerebral hemorrhage, acute renal and hepatic failure.
