Dislocation of a tooth

Dislocation of the tooth - forcible removal of the tooth with periodontal damage. Dislocations are divided into incomplete and complete, when the tooth has lost contact with the hole, as well as pushed dislocations.

Symptoms - severe pain, displacement of the tooth from the dentition, its pathological mobility. Later, periodontal inflammation and dental pulp necrosis occur.

Treatment. With incomplete dislocation, the tooth is inserted into the well and fixed to the adjacent teeth. When there are signs of pulp necrosis - trepanation of the tooth crown and endodontic treatment. With complete dislocation, the tooth is removed or replanted. With pitted dislocation, observation.

The prognosis for incomplete dislocation is favorable. When a dislocated dislocation, the tooth may eventually take its place in the dentition.
