Diencephalic (hypothalamic) syndrome

Diencephalic (hypothalamic) syndrome is a complex of disorders that occurs when the hypothalamic region of the interstitial brain is affected. It is manifested by vegetative, endocrine, metabolic and trophic disorders, most clearly expressed as symptomatic complexes of diabetes insipidus, inadequate secretion of antidiuretic hormone, cachexia, adiposogenital dystrophy and lactorrhea-amenorrhea. It should be noted an unjustified tendency to overdiagnosis of the diencephalic syndrome: the overwhelming number of patients with a similar diagnosis actually suffer from depression or neurosis with pronounced vegetative disorders. Among the latter, there are often so-called panic attacks: sudden heartbeats, chills, sometimes breathing disorders, paroxysms are accompanied by a sense of fear of death and usually result in profuse urination, sometimes with diarrhea. Seizure is copied / in the infusion of Seduxen; Systematic reception of antepeptin (0.5-1 tablet 2-5 times a day) or antidepressants and anaprilin prevents the development of panic attacks
