Shoulder fracture

Fracture of the shoulder is the result of an obstetric benefit for an anus or pelvic presentation of the fetus. There are diaphyseal fractures, metaepiphiseolysis of the proximal and distal ends of the humerus. With a diaphyseal fracture, swelling, deformity, pathological mobility and crepitation of the fragments, sharp soreness and lack of independent movements are noted. Epiphysis is characterized by swelling and deformity of the shoulder or elbow joint and restriction of movements. Passive movements in the joint cause pain. X-ray examination does not always show epiphysiolysis. Sometimes, only 8-10 days on the roentgenogram in the area of the corresponding epiphysis, a soft callus is found.

Treatment consists in immobilization of the limb for 10-14 days. With a diaphyseal fracture, the Dezo bandage is applied. In epiphysis the reposition and fixation of the limb on the outgoing bus is performed.

The prognosis is favorable, as with the growth of the child, small dislocations of bone fragments are leveled.
