1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, [to] your reasonable service

15 Rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep.
16 Be of one mind among yourselves; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly; do not dream about themselves;
17 Repay no one evil for evil, but take care to do good to all men.
18 If possible, on your part, live at peace with all men.
19 Do not avenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to wrath [of God]. For it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, says the Lord.
20 So, if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt his head heap coals of fire.
21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
