The invention relates to methods for the production of paint and varnish materials, in particular modified drying oils, which are widely used in the production of varnishes, enamels, primers and other compositions used as protective, decorative, electrical insulating coatings. Modification of natural or synthetic drying oil is carried out by introducing the AM-1 modifier into the reaction mixture at the final stage of the drying process - in the cooling stage. The modifier used is a product of the composition: 15-70% by weight of monoethanolamine, not more than 50% by weight of a mixture of 1- (2-hydroxyethyl) imidazolidone-2 and 1- (2-hydroxyethyl) ethylenediamine as an oxazolidone conversion product, .% Water, with a mass ratio of natural or synthetic linseed oil: modifier + 100 :( 0.5-10). Modification of natural or synthetic drying oil with the use of affordable petrochemical raw materials is aimed at improving their performance.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The invention relates to methods for the production of paint and varnish materials, in particular modified drying oils, which are widely used in the production of varnishes, enamels, primers and other compositions used as protective, decorative, electrical insulating coatings.

Known [Raw materials and intermediates for paint and varnish materials. Ed. M. M. Goldberg. M.: Chemistry. 1974, p. 241] the method of making natural drying oil by heat treatment at a temperature of 270-280 ° C (with or without air blowing) of drying oils with the addition of lead-manganese or manganese-lead-cobalt linoleates or metal naphthenates.

Its disadvantages include the high cost of sunflower, linseed, hemp and other refined oils, the difficulty of controlling the temperature during oxidation, and the reduced viscosity of the finished product.

The method [SU 910709, Cl. C 09 D 3/373; C 09 D 3/28] for the preparation of a film-forming composition comprising a petroleum polymer resin, vegetable oil, a desiccant and an organic solvent which further comprises a modifier from the group: glycerol rosin ester, zinc resinate, calcium resinate at the following component ratio, wt.%:

Petroleum resin 10-22

Vegetable oil 27-38

Modifying agent 5-12.5

Siccative 3-5

Organic solvent

A disadvantage of this composition is the high content of vegetable oil and desiccant, which leads to an increase in the cost of the resulting paint and varnish material.

The technical task of the invention is the modification of natural and synthetic drying oil with the use of available petrochemical raw materials, aimed at improving their performance. The stated task is achieved by the fact that at the final stage of preparation of drying oil it is modified with the product of the composition, by weight:

Monoethanolamine 15-70

A mixture of 1- (2-hydroxyethyl)

Imidazolidin-2

And 1- (2-hydroxyethyl) ethylenediamine

As a product of transformation

Oxazolidone not more than 50

Water no more than 5

In an amount of 0.5-10.0% by weight per 100% by weight of drying oil.

The essence of the proposed technical solution is a method for modifying a natural or synthetic drying oil by introducing a modifier into the reaction mixture at the final stage of production of drying oil - in the cooling stage, with the product of the following composition being used as the modifier, by weight:

Monoethanolamine 15-70

A mixture of 1- (2-hydroxyethyl)

Imidazolidin-2

And 1- (2-hydroxyethyl) ethylenediamine

As a product of transformation

Oxazolidone not more than 50

Water no more than 5

At a mass ratio of natural or synthetic linseed oil: modifier = 100 :( 0.5-10).

A distinctive feature of the invention is that as a modifier, a mixture of amino alcohols is used, which is introduced in an amount of 0.5-10.0% by weight per 100% by weight of drying oil.

It should be emphasized that the achievement of the technical result does not depend on the method of obtaining a natural or synthetic drying oil, but it is determined only by introducing a modifier of a certain composition at the final stage of the synthesis of the drying oil.

The invention is illustrated by examples.

Synthesis of drying oil "oxol" was carried out according to the known method.

For the production of synthetic drying oil, the waste of production of caprolactam was used - oil POD according to TU 2433-016-00205311-99:

Density at 20 ° C, g / cm 3 0.98-1.02

Mass fraction of water,% no more than 1,5

Mass fraction of volatile,% not more than 70

And resin oil-grade paint and varnish "B" according to TU 38.10916 - 79, which is a product of copolymerization of styrene and compounds of C 8 -C 9 pyrolysis fraction.

The AM-1 brand modifier corresponded to the requirements of technical specifications No. 2423-017-00206492-2002 and had the following composition, mass%:

Monoethanolamine 62

A mixture of 1- (2-hydroxyethyl)

Imidazolidone-2 and

1- (2-hydroxyethyl) ethylenediamine 36

Water 2

As a desiccant used lead-manganese brand "64P" to TU 6-15-1918-97, solvents were white spirit, nefras (155/200) and fuel for jet engines.

EXAMPLE 1

At the cooling stage of the drying oil "oxol" at a temperature of 45-50 ° C, 5% by weight of the modifier is added to it, based on 100% by weight of the final product, the composition is stirred for an hour and further cooling is carried out.

EXAMPLE 2 (reference)

The conditions of production according to claim 1. The modifier is not injected.

EXAMPLE 3

In a 2 m 3 reactor equipped with induction or fired heating, a mechanical stirrer and a condenser condenser, 1230 kg of LO oil are charged and the temperature is uniformly raised to 140-150 ° C for 2.5 hours. After this, 75 kg of resin is introduced using a charging device Petroleum polymer coating and raising the temperature to 200 ° C continue at a speed of 15 ° C per hour.

The process of copolymerization and polycondensation of APL oil and petroleum polymer resin is considered complete in case of positive analysis for the completeness of dissolution. The contents of the reactor are cooled to 60 ° C and 120 kg of lead-manganic desiccant and 75 kg of solvent are charged. The oil is stirred for 2 hours, cooled to 40-45 ° C and modified by adding 4.5% by weight of the modifier to 100% by weight of drying oil. The mixture is stirred for 4 hours and starts to cool and pack.

EXAMPLE 4

The conditions for carrying out according to Example 3. At the final stage of drying oil drying, 6.5% by weight of the modifier is added to it, based on 100% by weight of drying oil.

EXAMPLE 5 (reference)

The conditions of carrying out according to Example 3. The modifier is not introduced.

From the description of the invention and the table, it can be seen that, according to the claimed technical solution, it is possible to produce high-quality modified liners having a higher viscosity with a reduced dry residue.
