The invention relates to the field of paint and varnish materials. Paints are described which include a binder in the form of latex, a filler in the form of a crumb, a thickener and water, with a styrene-acrylic latex as a binder, a quartz crumb with a particle size of 0.05 to 3 mm as filler, and as a thickener Dextrin or hydrolyzed polyacrylonitrile-hypan. The offered paints have increased operational properties: lightfastness of 6-7 points, coating adhesion of 5-5.4 kg / cm, moisture resistance of 0.10-0.12 m 3 / cm 2 and high thermal stability.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The invention relates to the field of paint and varnish materials and can be used for the preparation of paints based on synthetic latex intended for a variety of applications, including for finishing facades of buildings, painting walls and other surfaces inside residential and non-residential premises and public areas, as a coating for buildings And structures of chemical, petrochemical and metallurgical industries, highways, bridges, etc.

A paint is known which includes the latex of the butadiene styrene copolymer, fillers and water (SU 352909, 1968). As the latex, the latex of the SCS 65 GP is used. The fillers are white Portland cement and chalk. The composition of the paint includes pigments. To improve frost resistance, sodium nitrite is added to the paint.

This paint can be used at low temperatures, it is environmentally friendly, easy to manufacture and technological to use, but it has insufficiently high adhesive power, does not have high heat resistance, and has insufficient air permeability. Before painting, preparation of the surface to be painted is necessary. The application of paint on a previously untreated surface does not hide its irregularities and defects.

Of the known paints, the paint closest to the claimed paint is the one comprising a binder in the form of a latex of a styrene-butadiene copolymer, preferably a SCS of 65 GP or a SCS of 30 GP, a filler in the form of a crumb, a thickener and water (SU 2129581, 1999). In this paint, crumb is used ceramic with a particle size of 1 to 5 mm, for example brick bricks or expanded clay. As the thickener, Hypan (hydrolyzed polyacrylonitrile) or Mezdr glue is used.

However, this paint has not enough wide operational capabilities and not high enough quality, it has insufficiently high hydrophobic properties (which does not allow to use it effectively when painting surfaces that are operated in conditions of high humidity), it changes color - turns yellow with time (in light tones gives yellowness Already in 5-6 months) because of the presence of butadiene in the composition of the composition is limited in color because of the limited color of the ceramic chips, its consumption during painting is quite large due to the rebound effect from the surface being painted, it has insufficiently high antifungal properties and is insufficient Low rates of aging.

The task solved by the invention is to create a paint that does not have the disadvantages of the prototype. The technical result provided by the invention consists in expanding the operational capabilities of the paint and improving its quality.

This is achieved by the fact that the paint, which includes a binder in the form of latex, a filler in the form of crumb, a thickener and water, contains a latex styrene-acrylic as a binder, a quartz crumb with a particle size of 0.05 to 3 mm as filler, and As a thickening agent, dextrin or hydrolyzed polyacrylonitrile-hypan, at the following component ratio, by weight:

Latex styrene-acrylic 17-23

Said quartz crumb 56-68

Dextrin 2.5-4.0

Water 17.0-18.5

or

Latex styrene-acrylic 17-23

Said quartz crumb 56-68

Hydrolyzed polyacrylonitrile-Hypan 1,5-3,0

Water 12.5-18.0

The above technical result is provided by a whole set of essential features.

The basis of the paint is a binder, which is a synthetic styrene-acrylic latex (for example, trade mark A 10). This latex has high hydrophobic properties (much better "holds" water compared, for example, with latices of the styrene-butadiene series). This makes it possible, in particular, to use paint to paint surfaces in wet rooms, bridges. The paint on the basis of this latex does not exfoliate with time and does not fall off from the painted surfaces. In addition, such a latex has increased stability and compatibility with the substances of the composition forming the paint. It does not burn, does not explode, does not form toxic compounds, and is of little danger in terms of the degree of exposure to a living organism. Latex is used in the paint in the form of an aqueous dispersion. An increase in the latex content of the ink composition in excess of 23% by weight decreases the adhesive strength of the coating, and when the content is below 17% by weight, complete coating of the solid particles is not ensured, which makes the paint unsuitable. A higher content of latex is advisable to use, for example, for facade paints, and lower - for internal works, since in the latter case there is no need for a significant amount of binder.

This amount of latex refers to its aqueous dispersion. The amount of dry matter in the latex used is 50%.

As a filler in the paint, quartz crumb (56-68% by weight) with particle size from 0.05 to 3 mm was used. A wide class of mineral crumbs can be used for the production of paints, for example, quartz colored in various shades, crushed stone based on natural rubble, etc. However, quartz crumb is more preferable because its particles are more resistant to oxidation. The presence of such a filler in combination with other paint components provides the effect of "shagreen" and "concealment" of irregularities and defects in the surface to be painted. The selected particle size limits are due to the fact that when they increase above this value, the loss in coloring increases due to the "rebound" effect from the surface to be painted. When the size decreases below this value, the consumption of the binder increases. The chosen limits of the content of the filler in the paint composition are due to the fact that their reduction below the lower specified limit will unacceptably reduce the opacity of the paint, and an increase above the upper indicated limit will result in the effect of delamination of the composition and render the paint unsuitable for storage.

Hydrolyzed polyacrylonitrile-Hypan in an amount of 1.5-3.0% by weight or dextrin (starch hydrolysis product) in an amount of 2.5-4.0% by weight acts as a thickening agent, acting as a water-retaining and stabilizing agent preventing delamination.

At the same time, both components have the same functional purpose and are similar to the achieved technical result. Dextrin, however, is more effective in terms of ensuring the stability of the emulsion properties of the paint and less sensitive to the quality of the water used for the preparation of the paint. They both do not refer to expensive and scarce substances. The intermolecular interaction of each of these substances with latex during the preparation and storage of the paint gives a water-retaining effect and maintains the dispersion in a stable state. At the paint application stage, i.e. The formation of a coating film in the form of a film, the combination of a hypane or a dextrin with a latex provides breathability and, at the same time, a liquid-impermeability of the formed film, which ultimately increases the operational life of the structures stained with the paint of the claimed composition. With an increase in the content of hypon or dextrin above the corresponding indicated value, the density of the composition decreases, which leads to unevenness of the applied paint layer. If the content is lower than the corresponding specified value, the composition can begin to separate, the water separates from the latex.

In the claimed composition, a kind of HYPANE, "Reagent K4", which is a product of incomplete hydrolysis of polyacrylonitrile with caustic soda at a 2.5: 1 component ratio, can be used. Such a variety is somewhat more versatile as a thickener and reduces paint consumption.

The composition of the paint does not need to introduce biocides to provide antifungal properties, since the technology of preparing styrene-acrylic latex involves the introduction of appropriate substances into the latex itself.

The greatest and smallest limits of the water content in the paint are caused, in particular, by the need to obtain the optimum viscosity of the paint and are chosen empirically.

The invention is illustrated by the examples of the paint compositions given in Table 1, and in Table 2 the properties of the coloring coatings.

The paint is prepared as follows. In the manufacture of a liquid phase, latex, water and hypon or dextrin are mixed in a predetermined percentage of the weight of the starting material.

Mixing is carried out in the process tank by a mechanized method, for example, using a blade mixer. With the help of a submersible pump, the liquid phase is pumped into containers, for example, metal drums. The solid phase is obtained by processing mineral, mainly quartz, raw materials to obtain fractions with a size of 0.05 to 3 mm. At the place of production of work on coloring, the liquid phase is mixed with the solid phase in a predetermined ratio. Mixing can be carried out, for example, in a concrete mixer-mixer, into which the liquid phase is first filled, and then the solid phase is poured on top. Stirring is carried out until the creamy state.

Before applying the paint, additional preparation of the surface to be painted (plaster, putty, primer, cracks, polishing) is not required. The paint can be applied to a wet or heated surface. The application can be carried out mechanically, for example, with the aid of a crumb.

The paint made in accordance with the invention has wide operational capabilities and high quality, higher than the known similar paints. It does not change its properties and does not fall off from painted surfaces, operated in conditions of high humidity. Its color does not change with time. In addition to the fact that it has an increased adhesive ability of the coating (at least 5 kg / cm 2 ), heat resistance, air permeability, practically does not require preparation of the surface before painting, it can easily be prepared in different colors, has low consumption for painting various surfaces, has High antifungal properties and has a small aging both during storage and after application to the surface to be painted. The coating of the paint, made in accordance with the invention, is extremely weather resistant, provides a high protection efficiency of the surface to be painted. It is easy to prepare, environmentally safe, easily applied mechanically on surfaces made of bricks, concrete, metal, wood, asbestos cement and other materials. When painting, it conceals irregularities and surface defects due to both physical equalization and optical effect. The coating made with such a paint has an attractive appearance (the "shagreen" effect) and an anti-vandal property.
