How to remember a deck of cards
Why do I need to remember the cards?
Memorizing cards gives you a huge advantage.
Especially at the end of the game, for example, in the same " Fool ", when your opponent has 6 cards and you know perfectly well what these cards are.
After making small calculations, you make the right moves and win.
Playing cards about 20 years ago, I never attached importance to this, but I developed my winning strategies, but by chance, after reading about this method of remembering 10 years ago, I began to play completely differently, much better, easier, etc.
Of course, this method of memorization, which I will offer to you, does not immediately suit everyone, since each person has his own abilities, but that by training you will learn how to memorize cards, this is guaranteed for 100%.
In addition, after mastering this technique, you can apply it to anything and it's also easy to remember a large number of items or the like.
The main thing is not to stop, but continue to work on yourself at least periodically.
To begin with, you can learn to memorize a trump suit, then another suit, until you learn how to memorize a whole deck.
So let's move on to the main thing.
The method of memorizing maps is based on associative thinking.
By creating certain associations, that is, pictures, you memorize maps.
In general, you need to build a mental route, and you travel along this route.
What you will find in the way of this route and will be maps.
Each card must be assigned its own memorable image.
Let's start with the fact that each card from an ace to ten we will assign certain numbers (and subsequently images).
Numbers will consist of two values: the first is the letter, and the second is the number.
For example, if we consider an ace as 1, then we have the letter "A", the two becomes "B", the three becomes "B" and so on.
The suit will be denoted by the second letter.
All clubs, for example, are represented by the letter "T".
The diamonds are represented by the letter "B", the peaks by the letter "P", and the hearts by the letter "Ч".
Thus, the two hearts become "CU", 5 clubs becomes "DT".
Having presented each map in letter designations, we need now to present letters in the form of people.
For example, 5 clubs is Dmitri Torbinsky, and the ace-peak is Alla Pugacheva.
Here is a table that shows how you can get letters for cards from Ace to 10.
Map | ♣ | ♠ | ♦ | ♥ |
Ace | AT | AP | AB | AF |
2 | BT | BP | BB | CU |
3 | BT | EaP | WB | HF |
4 | GT | GP | GB | MS |
5 | DT | DP | DB | HF |
6th | ET | EP | EB | EE |
7th | VT | ZHP | RC | HF |
8 | ZT | ZP | ST | HF |
99 | IT | FE | IB | IC |
10 | CT | KP | KB | CN |
Near each card, write for yourself a person who would be well known to you. With each card you should have the image of a certain person. It is important to remember that you do not need to memorize letters that mean cards, just these letters should lead you to a certain person. In time, you will find that when you see 5 clubs, then you have a corresponding image, for example, Dmitry Torbinsky, a famous football player of the Russian national football team, who, for example, scores a goal with the participation of the Russian team. Later it will be necessary for each person to assign an action. If Dmitry Torbinsky scores a goal, then Alla Pugacheva sings her famous song, for example, about harlequin. Below I presented my images, you will need to make your own. As for the cards with pictures, we assign images to them using a similar system.

Once you have assigned names to the cards, you need to come up with actions for these people, and it is recommended that you come up with activities that would fit their profession.
In addition, these actions should be differentiated by suit: clubs are aggressive actions, peaks are just doing their work, diamonds are associated with wealth and money, and hearts are associated with love, sex.
For example, according to the clubs: as stated above, Dmitri Torbinsky scores the ball into the goal with anger, Artemy Troitsky at some press conference scolds some pop singer, Ivan Turgenev writes "Mumu".
On the worms: Andrei Chemierkin goes out in a tight-fitting competition and smiles sweetly, Yevgeny Chichvarkin is riding his yellow car, on which is painted a red badge of a suit of hearts, Jackie Chan is filmed in a bed scene, etc.
Similarly, make actions with other suits.
Before proceeding to the next step, you need to check whether you know all these people.
To do this, give yourself a deck of cards and name each card by the name that was given to you.
In our case, take the name from the table.
Ideally, you should name the name quickly without stopping.
Of course, this requires certain skills.
In the process of remembering names, look at what name you are given with difficulty and then change it to another well-known name, this will save you time to memorize.
Route
After you learn all the names for the cards you need to make a route along which you will have these people.
Here, for example, my route starts from home and runs throughout the day for these objects.
1. The entrance of my house. | 27. Uralsib Bank. |
2. Pharmacy at home. | 28. "Tveruniversal" Bank. |
3. The market. | 29. Regional administration. |
4. Parking place. | 30. Regional Health Department. |
5. The bridge. | 31. Main post office. |
6. Tramways. | 32. The regional hospital. |
7. Area. | 33. The House of Cinema. |
8. Shopping center. | 34. Bookstore. |
9. The Savings Bank. | 35. Hotel. |
10. Fashion house. | 36. Dental shop. |
11. Construction. | 37. The road to Moscow. |
12. Stomatology. | 38. Gas filling station. |
13. Shop. | 39. STSI. |
14. Mail. | 40. Inspection. |
15. Electricity. | 41. Medical certificate. |
16. Heating network. | 42. Fish store. |
17. Water canal. | 43. Hypermarket. |
18. Medical equipment. | 44. Construction of a multi-story building. |
19. My office. | 45. Bypass road. |
20. Therapeutic room. | 46. Mounting. |
21. Orthopedic cabinet. | 47. Car store. |
22. The surgical room. | 48. Shopping complex. |
23. Sterilization. | 49. Fountain. |
24. The stairs. | 50. Cinema. |
25. The entrance to dentistry. | 51. Hockey box. |
26. The machine. | 52. Machines in front of the house. |
Once you have originally compiled a map for this individual journey, imagine the city from a bird's eye view and schematically roughly outline a route from one end of the city to the other. Then make up your mental image that walks this route in a certain direction and write down all the familiar places you often visit that would provide you with a suitable background for your imaginary set of personalities.
Memory cards
Before you start to memorize the deck, do 3 things: count each step to make sure that there are only 52 of them;
Imagine every step empty, there should be neither people nor sounds, that is, there must be a ghost town;
View each step from the same mental point of view.
For example, you stand at a cafe and from it look at all the steps.
Now you can proceed to memorization.
For example, the first card is 5 hearts, which is Jackie Chan.
I imagine that Jackie Chan is at my entrance and fights with someone.
The second card is the lady of the peak, under it is Dmitry Pevtsov, who buys drugs for teeth near the pharmacy near my house, I imagine the situation from the film "Bandit Petersburg" when Dmitry Pevtsov was beaten and Antibiotic threw him a bundle of money for , To cure teeth.
Next in my route is the market, and the third card is 10 hearts.
It means the director Kaiga Chen, who shoots his film on the market.
Near the market is a parking lot, and the fourth card is 10 diamonds, which stands for Xenia Borodina, who picks up her car from the parking lot.
And so on.
I pretty quickly learned to remember this my created route, because for many years I have it alone.
Therefore, I believe that one route to compose and study will not be difficult for anyone.
The world record for memorizing one deck of cards is 55 seconds, although there may be people who can do it faster.
Based on the above technique, you can learn to memorize several decks of cards: one, two, three, etc.
To do this, you just need to create different routes.
I believe that you will be quite enough to learn how to memorize one deck.
Good luck to you and do not despair, if something does not work out the first time.
Let me remind you that this method of memorizing can be mastered by absolutely any person.
The speed of memorization depends on abilities.
