Rules of the game. Kierki is a popular card game in Poland. Literal translation means "hearts" from the words of the Polishman Robert Shimansky, who lives in Vilnius. You can play for both interest and money, then the players decide before the game for how many points are collected, the losers pay the winner a certain amount of money. 4 players play a deck of 52 cards. The first deliverer in the game is determined by lot, in the remaining games players give cards in turn clockwise. Each player is dealt 13 cards each. The full game consists of two parts, actually from the "game" and "wagering", which in Polish are called rozrywka and odgrywka. In the first part - the "game", the players play negative points, and in the second part - "wagering", the players play positive points. The first part consists of seven games that are played without a trump card, and as they are called and what points are awarded for them, see below.
1. Without bribes (Bez lew) - players try not to take bribes. For each taken bribe, the player receives -20 points.
2. Do not take a worm (Bez kierów) - players try not to take bribes with cards of the hearts. For each card of the hearts of the player gets -20 points. It is forbidden to go first in the draw of a bribe from a card of the hearts.
3. Do not take ladies (Bez pań) - players try not to take bribes with ladies. For each woman taken, -60 points are awarded.
4. Do not take jacks (Bez panów) - players try not to take bribes with jacks. For each jack taken, -30 points are awarded.
5. Do not take the worm king (Bez króla kier) - the players try not to take bribes with the worm king. -150 points are awarded for the taken worm king. It is forbidden to go first in the draw of a bribe from the worm king.
6. Do not take the first and last bribes (Bez siódmej i ostatniej lewy) - players try not to take the first and last bribes. The player who takes the first or last bribe, for each gets -75 points.
7. Bandit (Rozbójnik) - in this game, players try not to take bribes, which are listed from the first to the sixth point, as for the taken bribe, which comes to any of the six points, the corresponding points are awarded.
The total number of negative points in the first six games is 1300, in the seventh game is also negative 1300, the total is -2600 points.
The first move in any of the seven games of the first part belongs to the player to the left of the handler. The player can enter from any of his cards, except for the cards of the worm suit, and each next player must put a card of the same suit, if there is no card of that color, then put any card. The player who puts the highest card in the suit of the card of the first turn, takes the bribe to himself. Thus, players play all the bribes. As soon as the draw is over, players count the points for the cards and start playing the next game on the account in the first part.
After playing the seven games of the first part, players play 5 games of the second part. The second part consists of 4 "trump games" (Rozgrywka atutowa) and one game "small lottery" (Loteryjka). In trump games, the trump suit is set by the sender. The sender handles all 5 cards, looks at his cards, calls a trump suit and then gives each player another 8 cards, each player has 13 cards in total, the first move belongs to the player to the left of the handler. The player can enter from any of his cards, and every next player must put a card of the same suit, if there is no card of that kind, then the player must put any card. A player who places the highest card in the suit of the first turn card or a trump card, or the oldest trump card, if there are several, takes a bribe and starts with his first move the rally of the next trick. Thus, all cards are played. For each taken bribe, the player receives 25 positive points. A total of 1300 positive points are played for 4 trump games played. After that, players play a "small lottery". The essence of the "small lottery" is to get rid of all your cards as quickly as possible. After putting the cards, the first move belongs to the player to the left of the handler. The player looks to see if he has a seven, if he has it, then he puts it in the center of the table, if there is no seven, then the player skips the turn and moves to the next player clockwise until the seven is laid out. As soon as the seven is laid out, each player on his turn can begin to build, or a sequence of cards, or put another seven and already on it the following players will build another sequence. You can build a sequence with only one card on your turn. For example, if a seven is laid out, then to the right of it you can put a figure eight or to the left of it you can put a six. If any of the players put a figure eight, then you can already put a nine. The ace is placed on the left side of the sequence to the left of the deuce. If a player does not have a card for laying out a sequence or seven, then the player skips the turn. Sequences are placed strictly in the same suit. For example, to the right or left of the seven of the peak suit, you can only place peaks. A player who gets rid of all his cards first gets 800 positive points. A player who gets rid of all his cards second, gets 500 positive points. Total for the game are played 1300 positive points.
After all the played games of the first and second part, players look at their glasses and the player who collects the most positive points becomes the winner.
