Muscles of forearm
Muscles of forearm, mm. Anterbachii, are divided into three groups according to their position: anterior, lateral (radial) and posterior. Each group is separated from each other by fascial partitions. In this case, the muscles of the anterior and posterior groups are arranged in several layers.
In the anterior group, the muscles lie in four layers.

The first (surface) layer: 1) round pronator; 2) the radial flexor of the wrist; 3) long palmar muscle; 4) the ulnar flexor of the wrist.
Second layer: superficial flexor of fingers.
The third layer: 1) the deep flexor of the fingers; 2) the long flexor of the thumb of the hand.
The fourth layer is a square pronator.
The lateral (ray) group includes: 1) the humerus muscle: 2) the long radial extensor of the wrist; 3) short radius of the extensor carpus.
The posterior group of muscles lies in two layers. Surface layer: 1) the elbow extensor of the wrist; 2) extensor of fingers; 3) extensor of the little finger.
Deep layer: 1) arch support; 2) a long muscle that removes the thumb of the hand; 3) short extensor of the thumb of the hand; 4) the long extensor of the thumb of the hand; 5) extensor of index finger.
