Short little finger flexor

Short flexus of the little finger , m. Flexor digiti minimi brevis, looks like a small flattened muscle lying lateral to the previous one, covered from above by a short palmar muscle and skin. It starts from the hook of the hook-shaped bone, the flexor retainer and, guided distally, is attached to the palmar surface of the base of the proximal phalanx of the little finger.

Function: flexes the proximal phalanx of the little finger and takes part in its reduction.

Innervation: n. Ulnaris (CVII-CVIII).

Blood supply: r. Palmaris profundus a. Ulnaris.
