Large labia
Large labia majora, labia majora pudendi, are two sagittally located cutaneous cusps that run on both sides of the genital slit from the pubic symphysis area back to the anterior border of the pelvic diaphragm. Laterally, they are separated from the hip skin by a furrow, medially restrict the genital cleft, rima pudendi.
The length of the labia majora reaches 8 cm, the width is 2-3 cm. The amount of adipose tissue embedded in their thickness determines their size.

Ahead of the right and left large labia lips connect anterior lip adhesion, commissura labiorum anterior. Behind them connects the less developed posterior adhesion of the large labia, commissura labiorum posterior.
The outer surface of the large labia and pubis, mons pubis, is covered with hair. The skin, forming large labia, contains a large number of sweat and sebaceous glands. The subcutaneous layer consists of well-developed fatty tissue, penetrated by connective tissue bundles with a considerable number of elastic fibers fixing the large labia to the periosteum of the pubic bones.
Muscular bundles of round ligament of the uterus are weaved into the thickness of the front sections of the labia majora.
In the subcutaneous tissue of the labia majora, venous plexuses are laid-the bulb of the vestibule, bulbus vestibuli, and large glands of the vestibule, glandulae vestibulares majores. The inner surface of the labia majora, retaining the skin structure, due to the superficial location of the arterial capillaries, has a pinkish hue.
