Pulmonary haemorrhage

In case of damage to the lungs (a strong blow to the chest, fracture of the ribs), a number of diseases (tuberculosis, cancer, lung abscess, mitral heart disease, etc.), hemoptysis is possible when the patient is given foamy scarlet blood along with phlegm. In these cases, it is necessary to unbutton clothing, making breathing difficult, to immediately give the patient a semi-sitting position, to provide access to the room with fresh air, preferably cold. The patient is forbidden to move, talk, it is recommended to breathe deeply and cough. On the chest, it is advisable to put a bubble with ice, from drugs - pills against cough. Any pulmonary hemorrhage is a symptom of a serious illness, emergency medical consultation is needed.
