LEVORINA SODIUM NUTRIEVA (Levorinum-natrium).

Porous mass or amorphous powder of dark yellow color. It is hygroscopic. It is inactivated by the action of light, increased temperature and moisture. It dissolves in water with the formation of a colloidal system.

It acts on pathogenic fungi like levorin.

Apply in the form of inhalations of aerosol, rinses, douches, moist tampons, enemas.

For inhalations prepare the solution immediately before use at a rate of 100 000 - 200 000 units per 5 ml of distilled water. Inhalation is carried out for 5 - 20 minutes 1 - 2 - 3 times a day. The duration of the course of treatment is 7-10 days. If necessary, the course of treatment is repeated after a 5 - 7-day break.

Children are prescribed in the following daily doses: at the age of 1 year 40 000 - 100 000 units, from 1 to 3 years 100 000 - 150 000 units, over 3 years 150 000 - 200 000 units.

Candidiasis of the mucous membranes of the mouth, nasopharynx, intestines, upper respiratory tract, candidiasis vulvovaginitis, urethritis, cystitis, etc. Use solutions of levorin sodium salt for rinses, douches, wetting tampons, enemas. The solutions are prepared before use at a rate of 20,000 units per ml; Appoint 2 - 3 times a day.

When inhaled solutions of levorin sodium salt may cause cough, bronchiolospasm, an increase in body temperature. In these cases, inhalation should be discontinued.

The drug is contraindicated with hypersensitivity to levorin, with bronchial asthma. Caution is necessary when prescribing to patients with allergies. Other contraindications are the same as for levorin.
