N, N'-Diallilnortoksiferina dichloride.
Synonym: Alloferin, Alloferin.
Synthetic derivative toksiferina (alkaloid curare).
Antidepolyarizuyuschego muscle relaxant. D- tubocurarine active (1.5-2 times). It does not have m-anticholinergic properties and histamine releasing effects.
Blockade of neuromuscular conduction is 30 seconds after intravenous administration, reaching a peak after 3-4 minutes and lasts 20-30 minutes.
Used for muscle relaxation during diagnostic procedures and surgical interventions, as well as tetanus.
Adults intravenously administered 0.25 mg / kg and then (after 30-50 min and if necessary even after 15-25 minutes) 0.03 mg / kg; children initial dose of 0.2 mg / kg. Inhalation anesthesia alcuronium dose is reduced by 30-50%.
Possible side effects: hypotension, tachycardia, arrhythmia, bronchospasm, dyspepsia, allergic reactions.
The drug is contraindicated in infants, in the early stages of pregnancy.
Incompatible with sodium thiopental.
