Vazobral (Vasobral).

Combined preparation containing α-dihydroergocriptine mesylate and caffeine.

Dihydroergocriptine is dihydrogenated ergot alkaloids, and has α-adrenoblokiruyuschey and partially central serotonergic activity, has a vasodilatory effect. On pharmacologically similar to dihydroergotamine and Dihydroergotoxin (blocks both α 1 - and α 2 adrenergic receptors). Dihydroergocriptine and caffeine combination intended to enhance their effects on the brain vessels, decrease platelet aggregation, improve the metabolic processes in the brain.

Apply with cerebrovascular insufficiency, including as a result of atherosclerosis of brain vessels, with residual problems after violations of cerebral circulation, migraine prophylaxis, as well as violations of the peripheral circulation (Raynaud's disease, and others.).
