Description of the medicine: Irbesartan

IRBESARTAN (Irbesartan).

2-Butyl-3 [para (ortho-1H-tetrazol-5-ylphenyl) benzyl] -1,3-diazaspiro [4,4] non-1-en-4-one.

Synonym: Aprovel, Aprovel.

It is an irreversible blocker of AT 1 -angiotensin receptors.

Quickly and completely absorbed in the digestive tract, bioavailability is 60-80%, C max 1.5-2 h, T S - 11-15 h; Undergoes biotransformation in the liver, is excreted mainly with bile and feces.

Applied with arterial hypertension and congestive heart failure.

Assign inside by 0.15 or 0.3 g (the elderly - 0.075 g) 1 time per day.

Possible side effects: headache, dizziness, weakness, asthenia, tachycardia, dyspepsia, myalgia, urticaria, etc.

The drug is contraindicated in pregnancy and lactation.

Product: tablets at 0,075; 0.15 and 0.3 g (N. 14, 28).
