5-Oxo-L-proline-L-gastidyl-L-prolinamide.

White or white with a yellowish hue amorphous powder. Soluble in water and alcohol.

Synthetic analogue of thyrotropin-releasing hormone hypothalamus. Influencing the anterior lobe of the pituitary gland, promotes the release of thyroid-stimulating hormone and prolactin.

Applied for the diagnosis of pituitary insufficiency in patients with gipotireoidnym states, as well as gapo- and agalactia in women.

Enter intravenously to adults 0.2 mg, children at a rate of 1 mcg / kg. In this case, before and 30 minutes after drug administration, the level of thyroid-stimulating hormone in the blood is determined.

Possible side effects: fluctuations in blood pressure, a feeling of heat, headache, nausea, tachycardia, anxiety.
