Proxodololum (Proxodololum)

The original domestic "hybrid" (b + a) -adrenoblocker.

White crystalline powder. Easily soluble in water.

Has antihypertensive and antianginal action. Effectively reduces intraocular pressure in glaucoma.

For prolonged antihypertensive and antianginal therapy, appoint inwards starting with 0.01 g 3 - 4 times a day; If necessary gradually increase the dose to 80 - 120 mg (sometimes up to 240 mg) per day. For hypertensive crises, 1 to 2 ml of a 1% solution is injected into the vein, after 5 minutes it is possible to re-administer the drug to a total dose of 5-10 ml; Can be administered dropwise (5 ml of 1% solution in 200 ml of isotonic sodium chloride solution).

When open-angle glaucoma is used in the form of 1% or 2% solution of 2 drops 2 times a day. Perhaps a combination with other anti-glaucomatous drugs.
