Panaritium cutaneous

Panaritium cutaneous - an accumulation of pus under the epidermis of knives in the form of a limited bladder. Excision of the skin area quickly leads to a cure, this can be done without anesthesia, lifting the epidermis with tweezers. Sometimes after excision of the skin a thin fistulous course is determined, with pus pressure on surrounding tissues pus is released from it. In this case, it is a subcutaneous panaritium with a breakthrough under the epidermis ("panaritium in the form of cufflinks"), which must be treated as a subcutaneous felon.
